Zo produceerden we een nieuwe toekomstvisie, onder de nieuwe naam. Dit is het merkmanifest dat er bij hoort.&#38;nbsp;

For the Dutch Humanist Society, I showed how most Dutch people are, unbeknownst to them, already humanists. Or at least subscribe to humanist values. We expressed some of these shared views and values, to point out that they ‘reek of humanism’ and encourage people to act on them. Values include “Not confusing being angry with being right”, “Being deadly serious about determining how you die” and “Being the only one to set your love life’s door policy”</description>

A new payoff, a new umbrella idea and plenty of flexibility to showcase all of their programming. ‘Wij zijn voor’ translates into both: ‘we are for’ and ‘we are pro’, a refreshing sound in a negative environment.

		<description>Financieel Dagblad, our Dutch version of the Financial Times, has a campaign called “Who follows. Leads.” Great insight by my Dawn colleagues, pointing out that decisionmakers need to be well-informed about a wide range of topics to set the right course. It shows the FD is far more than a financial publication, showcasing its coverage of all things cultural, political, scientific and popular. For us, that means predicting what will dominate the news ahead of time to make a campaign that captures the zeitgeist.

TeamNL Introducing the Dutch Olympic Brand
Selling Olympians sounds easy. Brands line up to use them in their ads. But standing out between those brands is tougher, especially in the sponsorship rights jungle out there. To promote the new Dutch Olympic umbrella brand TeamNL, we wanted to show the real side of the Olympic life - Echt Oranje.  Working closely together with the athletes, we gave the public access to a side of Olympic life they had never seen before. I was named creative lead on the project and was involved in pretty much every aspect and directed most of our TV commercials myself. Loved making this campaign work.

The Poopy Cat Dolls - a campaign that was full of it. 
This is one of the most fun things I've done at TBWA. Sometimes a client comes in and just wants to conquer the world on a shoestring. In this case he walked in carrying a bland looking cardboard box, a smart product idea -a disposable, biodegradable litter box - and the name Poopy Cat. He left with a logo and payoff (They're full of it), box designs, website and a hit diva group made up out of cats. They sang and danced their way into global media attention, without a cent of support. Unfortunately, they had a falling out after a public catfight on Twitter. Yes, the shoot was like herding cats - don’t even get me started on getting them to remember their lines. So, here's their hit video with the song that I wrote together with composer Siem Schellevis.

		<description>The FD and Comedy Central teamed up to create what they called a Festival of Economics. A first in its kind for the Netherlands. Point was, it was meant to interest everyone, and be a fun day around town. So we needed a name and visual style to announce a new breed of animal, and make it enticing at the same time.&#38;nbsp;

		<description>You ain’t seen nothing, yet.
Heineken asked us to make a local tie-in to their global Open the City campaign. We started with an insight: even when you're a local, there's always someone who knows the nightlife in your city better than you do. So we asked two local heroes - rapper Sef in Amsterdam and 'professional Rotterdammer' Sjoerd - to show 2 duos of regular guys their side of the city, which led to hookers, tattoo artists, hidden bars, nuns, harbour poker games and drone delivered late night snacks. Of course, everyone was in on it, except our clueless victims. Tied into it was a website where you could find and add hidden treasures in your own city, potentially winning a city trip. Together, the online videos  reached over 2.540.000 views - not bad in a 16 million people country.  Local pride played its part, as shown by the high number of shares. And our 'victims' became local heroes.

For Hermitage Amsterdam, we're not quite showing you the full genius of Dutch masters from the Hermitage St. Petersburg - back in the country after centuries. You will not quite them in the streets, nor will you quite see them in the banners online. We're not above pointing that out, either. We even filmed local celebrities not showing you the paintings on social media. 

You'll know you're missing out till you go see the real thing in the Hermitage. Where you will be blown away, we promise. So really, we're not showing you these Dutch Masters in your own interest.
