Burgers getting political
McDonald's really wanted little more than a coupon page in the newspaper. But since it was election time, we convinced them to go for a grass roots political movement instead. Make way for the Burgers in Actie - citizens in action - who demand some juicy budget cuts. Including a press release full of ironic political jokes, a campaign poster on the (free!) political billboards, banners on election sites like kieswijzer.nl and a voiced preference for the upcoming coalition. Apparantly, the burgers prefer to rule with fries, a side salad and a softdrink. It was appreciated by the press, with national newspaper NRC deeming the Burgers in Actie good enough to be taken as a serious political party and listing them among the main players.
